Egidia Stewart (1320-1405) 1320--1405 (kvinna)
Egidia Stewart was the daughter of Walter Stewart, 6th High Steward of Scotland and Isabella Graham.1 She married, firstly, Sir James de Lindsay of Crawford, son of Sir David de Lindsay of Crawford and Maria Abernethy, on 21 April 1346.2 She married, secondly, Sir Hugh Eglinton of that Ilk after October 1357.1,3 She married by contract, thirdly, Sir James Douglas of Dalkeith, son of Sir John Douglas and Agnes (?), in October 1378.3 She died before 1406.1
She was also known as Gille Stewart. From 21 April 1346, her married name became de Lindsay. From after October 1357, her married name became Eglinton.1,3 From October 1378, her married name became Douglas. | |
