Martha Christina Nilsson March 25, 1945 -February 16, 2008 Martha Christina Nilsson, 62, of State College, passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at the Mount Nittany Medical Center in College Township. Born on March 25, 1945, in Youngstown, Ohio, she is the daughter of the late Einar W. and Martha E. Chenault Nilsson. She was a 1963 graduate of the Bellefonte Area High School. She also went on to attend the Lock Haven University. Martha was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bellefonte. She is survived by one sister, Mary Louise Wells and her husband John, of Riverside, Conn.; one niece, Catherine A. Wells; one nephew, Christopher Nilsson Wells; and one great-nephew, John T. Wells. There will be a public visitation held Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, from 6 until 8 p.m., at the Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at 11 a.m., at the First Presbyterian Church in Bellefonte, with the Rev. Douglas S. Elder Sr. and Rev. David Vogan officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Strawberry Fields at 3054 Enterprise Drive, State College, PA 16801.
