Elsa Victoria Nystrom, 92, of Nampa, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012 in Nampa.
She was born on May 24, 1920 in Nampa, Idaho to Carl W. and Vendla V. Nystrom. She attended Nampa schools and graduated from Nampa High School in 1937 and was a member of the National Honor Society. She attended Nampa Business College and later took some courses at Boise Junior College.
She began working at Kings Packing Company in 1938 and was employed there until 1945 at which time she began working for the Pacific Fruit Express Company (Later Union Pacific Fruit Express). She retired in December 1980 and then worked part time at Ripley Doorn and Co. from January 1981 until 1993.
She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Nampa.
She is survived by a nephew, John L. Lombardi and a brother in law, John J. Lombard both of Salt Lake City. She was also survived by her Messiah Lutheran Church Family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Carl and a sister, Ruth E. Lombardi.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 at the Messiah Lutheran Church, Nampa. She will be buried in the Kohlerlawn Cemetery, Nampa.
Services are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel.
