Irma Victoria Duesler, 88, Barnum, died Saturday, April 24, 2004. She was born in Superior Douglas WI on January 10, 1916 to Carl and Hilda Wik. Irma was united in marriage to Fred Duesler on June 25, 1938 in Blackhoof. Fred and Irma raised their family on a farm in Blackhoof. Irma enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, picking blueberries, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends. Irma volunteered at the Carlton County Fair and at the Mercy Hospital Care Center in Moose Lake. She was a member of Elim Lutheran Church in Blackhoof and of the Barnum Senior Citizens. Irma was preceded in death by her husband Fred, Parents: Carl and Hilda Wik, Brother: Philip Wik, and Sister: Ellen Lofgren.
She will be lovingly remembered by three sons, Kenneth (Lynda) of Barnum, Stanley (Myrna) of Los Vegas, Nevada, Glenn (Delene) of Branson, Missouri; two daughters, Shirley (Rudy) Senarighi of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, and Sharon (Darryl) Pylvanen of McGregor; sister Esther Wik of Cloquet; sixteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren | |
